An organically-grown gem from our Riverland grower – Ricca Terra Farms.
Handpicked, cold soak 4 days, 20% wholebunch wild ferment, then matured in aged oak for eight months. Unfined, unfiltered, minimum sulphur for protection.
Light/medium ruby-red colour. Aromas of spicy plum, floral/herbal tea characters, savoury and earthy red-fruits. Slight citrus elements, some perfume and dustiness for lift.
Red and black-fruits head up the palate – some strawberry, dark cherry and plum – along with toasted spice nuances. Structurally sound and upright – tannins are fine-grained and some good crunchy acidity rounds out the finish.
This wine is a medium-bodied, savoury dry red, ideal for year-round drinking.

This small volume red has a bright, fresh, cherry bubblegum aroma with vanilla and gentle minty notes. It’s fruit-sweet and smooth in the mouth with balance, concentration and vibrant youthfulness.
Very good, but better in a year or two.

Highly perfumed notes on the nose. This is from the quirky stable of Brad Wehr and marks a new branding based on a number of alternate varieties in Australia. The other wines in the mix are well worth checking out.

…quite red, showing ripe berry and vanilla scents, showing sweetness to taste, and earthy, soft tannins that finish in a gently, charming pucker.
