Sourcing micro-parcels of fruit from small independent growers and single vineyard estates, we employ minimal intervention winemaking to create wine styles synonymous with the Margaret River name, under a contemporary, stylish package.
What do we mean by minimal intervention? The wines are made using a ‘hands-off’ approach. Minimal, if any, adds are used; wines are often fermented wild; little or no fining & filtration of the finished wines; minimal sulphur (preservative) is added for protection.
White wines often see partial barrel fermentation and/or maturation, and both white and red wines utilise a greater proportion of new French oak than our other labels.
Under Mantra we make classic Margaret River styles such as Sauvignon Blanc Semillon, Chardonnay and Cabernet Sauvignon.
